Photographs

Where possible we like to use actual photos of the found dog. There can be a delay in receiving images from finder/wardens. Where we know that a finder is sending one through its best to wait about an hour, if its not received then do the alert with a K9 standard found dog image (see image). There are occasions where finders/wardens have no photos, then just simply post alert with standard image.

All actual found dog photos to be watermarked with www.k9searchuk.com. The reason for this is because we found some people copy the photo and post as their own, no problem really until they get info on the missing dog and then cannot remember where the original photo came from. Watermark ensures the photo can always be tracked back to ourselves.

Sadly we do have devious people in our area that try to claim stray dogs when they are not the owner. So when dealing with a photograph, try and hide any distinguishing marks/features. If possible try to ensure their privates are covered by watermark or cropped out of photo.

ALL images must be sent through to us by the methods we advertise. We cannot take an image without consent as its against copyright laws.
